And when it comes to the spirits around Qanon, I don’t like what I see. I feel like there should be more alarm in the Christian church about Qanon. I’m incredibly concerned by the demonic sentiments of hatred and violence this conspiracy community so casually produces on a constant basis. So it’s unfortunately not a big surprise when those sentiments translate into real-world violence, as they did in this case. At this point I have to assume that Qanon is absolutely crawling with demonic spirits of paranoia, violence, murder, hatred, and more. Anyone involved in it should get out quick, for the sake of their own soul. And anyone not involved in it should stay as far away as they can.
Hello Readers, hope all’s well. Time for another #shorts post, and also another End Times post. Today I combine the two again, for a #short End Times.
Many Christians say that we should never focus on bad news, and there are definitely Scripture verses that back them up on this. I understand exactly where they’re coming from. Too much bad news affects our mood and our thoughts; it brings our whole Spirit down. So I’ve been trying, especially this year, to make sure that my blog is not a constant source of bad news.
And yet, there is a time and a place to talk about bad news. Because behind every piece of bad news about the terrible things that happened here in this fallen world are issues that we need to identify and target. As Christians we’re supposed to be a light for this world and try to make things better here, as best we can. We can’t be fully effective in this if we ignore the issues and ignore what’s going on.
What I’m trying to say is that lately avoiding all bad news altogether can be like sticking our head in the sand. Ignoring problems doesn’t make those problems go away.
So today I have some bad news to discuss; another news story involving another heinous crime. In this case, another double murder. As for why I picked the story, well, the Qanon conspiracy movement is once again involved here. Long-time Readers may remember that I’ve written about Qanon a few times before. Check out Part 70, Part 78, and Part 99.
In my opinion, Qanon is such a serious issue that it’s worth it to discuss them when they’re involved in atrocities like the one I will talk about today.
Deceived by the Devil’s Visions
There are a good number of articles about this case involving a man named Matthew Coleman from California, in the United States. For my source I chose this article by PEOPLE entitled, “Matthew Coleman’s Wife Told Cops He Wouldn’t Hurt Kids Before He Allegedly Killed Them with Spear Gun.” It was written by Steve Helling and published on August 17, 2021. You know I write these blog posts weeks in advance, so the news stories I share aren’t always up-to-date.
In this heinous case, this husband and father of two is accused of killing his two infant children. I won’t discuss the details of that because it’s not the important part, but if you want to know more you can click the story linked above.
What’s important in this case is why; why did this apparently happy husband and father of two all of a sudden commit such an out of character, violent, and heinous atrocity??
The short answer is he was deceived by the devil. In this case, he was deceived by the Qanon conspiracy movement, or perhaps the demonic spirits or subliminal witchcraft that are inextricably linked with Qanon. Take a look at this quote from the article I linked above, and zoom in on the bolded sections.
PEOPLE obtained a criminal complaint that was filed in the U.S. District Court last Wednesday. In the 10-page complaint, FBI special agent Jennifer Bannon wrote that Coleman claimed to be “enlightened by QAnon and Illuminati conspiracy theories and was receiving visions and signs revealing that his wife, A.C., possessed serpent DNA and had passed it on to his children.”
“M. Coleman stated that he believed his children were going to grow into monsters so he had to kill them,” Bannon wrote.
Coleman allegedly told Bannon that he knew his actions were wrong, but that killing the children was the only way to save the world.

He believed his innocent and helpless infant children had serpent DNA (so they would be like Reptilian aliens or something), and the only solution to this was to kill them. In fact, he believed killing them was necessary to save the world.
And why did he believe that?? After getting into Qanon and other conspiracy theories, he started having signs and visions. But signs and visions can come from Satan just like they can come from God. In fact, dreams, signs, and visions are a common area for the devil to try and deceive us. We need to test every spirit (1 John 4:1) and use Scripture to scrutinize the message of any vision or prophecy. If Coleman had done that, he would’ve immediately seen that killing his own children is not Biblical … assuming he was unable to see it was completely horrific, vile, wrong!! God would never ask that of him. The signs and visions telling him to do it were demonic deceptions, sent by Satan (or one of his demonic minions). And look at the atrocious sin these deceptions led him to.
Not every spirit who gives messages and visions and so on is from Heaven. That’s why we need to test every spirit, like it says in 1 John 4:1.
(1) Dear friends, don’t believe every spirit. Test the spirits to see if they are from God because many false prophets have gone into the world.
