Through Jesus, the LORD has given us all the weapons and training we need to rout our demonic Spiritual enemies, and no power of the enemy will harm us. The power of the LORD is infinitely superior to any power of the devil. But we need to use the LORD’s Spiritual weapons!! We need to FIGHT BACK!! If we don’t, the devil will get his punches in and wound us, like he did during my recent relapse.
Hello Readers, hope all’s well. Today I present another End Times post.
I’m very sorry to report that when I wrote this (about a month in advance), I had just shaken off a massive witchcraft attack against me. You win some and you lose some, right?? Well I hate to say it, but this witchcraft that targeted me in the Spiritual realm kicked my a** in the physical realm. And the python spirit was involved too. (But that’s another story, and I don’t feel qualified yet to write about the python spirit and how it works. I may be ready one day soon though.)
As for what the problem is?? Well, I’m now recovering from a week-long binge of sin. After a great streak of sticking to my good resolutions, following the LORD, controlling myself, and pursuing my Spiritual growth, I relapsed back into flesh mode and indulged in substances I thought I was done with after being Saved. I went from the highest peak I’ve reached since being Saved all the way to rock bottom, fast. It was terrible. Now this week, when writing this, I’m trying to claw my way back up. And it’s not easy.
But there are different levels of addictive substances. By the Grace of God, I didn’t relapse on the worst ones. So I have that going for me. I need to be Grateful for any positive, after hitting a low like this.
Now what was the cause of this relapse?? Why?? What happened?? I’ll get to that, but first ….
Remember this Truth
First I must make one thing crystal clear: The fault is mine. Yes, I do believe witchcraft was involved in this episode, which I’ll discuss a bit below. But as I’ve said before, we are always in control of our actions, demons or no demons. Demons can tempt and entice us. But they can’t “make” us do anything. Even when witchcraft is involved, our actions are always our own.
Through Christ, we have the power to resist demons, witchcraft, curses, and addictions. We need to remember this truth, and live by it.
No Weapon Will Prosper
No weapon formed against us will prosper. That includes witchcraft, demonic attacks, curses, magic, addictions, and more. This protection that comes from the LORD is our inheritance as one of His Servants. It’s not because of our own Righteousness, but the LORD’s Righteousness, which is gifted to us when we put our Faith in His Son Jesus Christ and accept Jesus’ Sacrifice on our behalf.
This famous verse and central concept of Spiritual warfare comes from Isaiah 54:17.
(17) No weapon fashioned against you will succeed,
Isaiah 54:17 (CEB)
and you may condemn every tongue that disputes with you.
This is the heritage of the LORD’s servants,
whose righteousness comes from me, says the LORD.
I have a few pieces of evidence (not much) that witchcraft was involved in my recent relapse. I have reason to believe that I was under Spiritual assault, being targeted in the Spiritual realm by evil witchcraft coming from a woman I used to be involved with. I’ve written about her a few times on my blog, in vague detail. Looking back on things now, I’m starting to wonder if this wasn’t the first time she’s wielded witchcraft against me. She may have done this before too, but this time was by far the worst, if the witchcraft truly came from her. Because whether she meant to or not, this time she unleashed the python spirit against me.
And you know what?? None of that matters; it’s all meaningless. Who unleashed witchcraft against me, if anyone, is irrelevant. If I had only remembered the Truth of Isaiah 54:17, spoken it out loud, and Lived by that truth, the witchcraft would not have gotten as far as it did.
The Power of the LORD is infinitely superior to any power of the devil, including witchcraft and curses. If we stay with the LORD we’ll be safe. But when witchcraft is used against us, we have to fight!! We can’t be passive, and wait for the LORD to Deliver us!! We have to use the Sword of the Spirit—that’s Holy Scripture!! We have to speak the verses and understand the Truth of them. No power of the enemy will harm us … so we need to be fearless and fight back when an enemy comes for us!! FIGHT BACK!!
Jesus Himself told us that no power of the enemy will harm us. We have the authority to CRUSH snakes—that includes python—and scorpions under our feet. BUT WE HAVE TO USE THIS AUTHORITY!! WE HAVE TO WIELD THIS POWER!! WHEN THE ENEMY TARGETS US WITH WITCHCRAFT, WIELD THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT AND FIGHT BACK!!
(19) Look, I have given you authority to crush snakes and scorpions underfoot. I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will harm you.

If only I had done this when the witchcraft attack against me first started. Then it wouldn’t have gotten as bad as it did.

Break the Power of Words Spoken over You
If my post today isn’t clear, below is an excellent, quick video on this topic by the YouTuber Kris Reece. The video is entitled: “How to Break the Power of Words Spoken Over You – Kris Reece- Christian Women’s Speaker.”
In this video, she explains that curses and witchcraft can be spoken over us by others, or by ourselves. We speak these negative things over ourselves when we come into agreement with the negative, self-hating ideas that pop into our head. In other words, when we agree with the self-defeating thoughts the devil throws at us, through witchcraft.
We can never do this—we must FIGHT BACK!! Never agree with the devil or the lies he speaks.
Anyway, here are three things from the video to do to break the power of words spoken over us (curses and witchcraft):
- Break them — Take authority over these curses in the name of Jesus, and break them (Luke 10:19)
- Reject them — Say out loud you are not in agreement with the lies of the devil spoken over you
- Watch your mouth — Goes with the above. Be careful what you tell yourself about yourself, and never come into agreement with or believe the lies the devil tells about you.
These things aren’t always easy to do—trust me, I know. Like I said, this latest Spiritual attack against me kicked my a** in real life. It was brutal.
But through the power of Christ, the LORD has given us everything we need to fight the devil and trample him underfoot. So make no mistake about it: He expects us to do so. We can’t be passive in this war, praying to God that He will deliver us from the attacks of the enemy. We have the ultimate weapon, the Sword of the Spirit (Scripture), and we have to use it.
Resist the devil, and he will flee. That means we need to FIGHT BACK!!!
