Previous End Times Post

Part 50 Recap Post

Hello Readers, hope all’s well. Time for another End Times post.

Today is a special End Times post. Let’s think of it like a “special feature” or something like that. Today I’m writing about the Qanon conspiracy theory, and its incompatibility with Christianity. It’s a big topic, and even today’s “special feature” post won’t cover it all. But today I start by giving solid reasons why Christians must avoid Qanon, which shows clear signs of being a demonic deception. In other words, demonically-inspired lies.

But first, since almost all my Readers come from outside the U.S., like me, many Readers may be unfamiliar with Qanon. So let’s start there—what is Qanon? Like everything in this wild conspiracy theory, that’s not a question with a simple answer.

What-Anon?

Qanon is a U.S.-centric conspiracy theory. Most of its followers are in the U.S., and almost all the content deals with U.S. people, places, and things. I can see where the traffic to my blog comes from, so I know that almost all my Readers come from outside the U.S., like me. Although some people outside the U.S. follow Qanon, most do not. And many outside the U.S. don’t even know about it.

If you don’t know about the Qanon conspiracy theory, all I can give is a brief explanation. I can’t go in detail about it, and that would make this post much longer too. If you want to know more about it, you’ll have to look it up on your own. But you must be careful if you do, because the conspiracy is a dangerous trap of misinformation. Qanon is anti-Christian, and today I’ll explain a few reasons why. And when I finish today, there will still be more to say. This will not be the last post I write on the topic of Qanon, and the evils of it.

I’ll also show you some testimonies of the damage that believing in Qanon does to people and families. These are firsthand stories from people who have lost loved ones to this devilish conspiracy theory. The people they once knew were completely changed into scared, anxious, reactionary, and nasty versions of their former selves. This is like losing someone to addiction. And it also shows, as I will explain today, that Qanon causes real harm in people’s lives. Qanon is something of the devil; it’s not Christian or compatible with our beliefs. It doesn’t honor God.

Anyway, I did say I’d give a brief explanation. So here it is.

Qanon is a conspiracy theory which says the world is secretly run by a global cabal of elites (who may all be Jewish) who are pedophiles who kidnap and traffic children to have sex with them and also eat them, etc.

Could this be true? Could any of it be true? Oh that one’s easy: Yes. Of course it could be true. After all, the Bible tells us many times this fallen world is under Satan’s power until Jesus’ return. One of these statements is in 1 John 5:19, and there are more to pick from.

(19) We know we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

1 John 5:19

Knowing this, it makes sense that Satan would pick out wicked servants (slaves) from the people of the world. It makes sense he would deceive them and give them power and whatever else, grant their every wish. Give them the power to rule here on earth, in return for doing his bidding and advancing his agenda. Is there a group of elites who secretly run the world? Probably. There most likely is. And yet, none of that justifies Qanon, which obviously causes real harm to the people who get sucked into it.

Even if everything Qanon says were 100% true (and it’s not, because many predictions Q has made haven’t come true, which makes him a false prophet [see Deuteronomy 18:21-22]), Qanon still wouldn’t be acceptable for Christians. There’s too much wrong with it that goes against Christianity.

And I’m going to get into some of those problems, right now. These things and more make Qanon un-Christian:

  • Calls to physical violence
  • Idolatry of Trump
  • Instills fear in its followers
  • Causes strife and family conflicts (with firsthand testimonials from people affected by this)

As I said, there are more problems I could mention. This is a big topic. But for today, these four things are what I’m talking about.

Deranged Calls for Violence

The absolute worst issue with Qanon is how it encourages its followers to call for violence. Although actual acts of violence by Qanon followers in the real world are rare (so far), they spend a lot of time on social media calling for violence. This is a huge problem because constantly advocating violence leads to real violence. It will set somebody off, who will get so hyped up by the talk of violence that they actually go out and do something. But that’s not the only problem.

In the Sermon on the Mount, Our Savior taught us to forgive others, even those who harm us or persecute us. Jesus taught us to turn the other cheek. That’s what God expects from us. He wants and expects us to love our neighbors and our enemies as we love ourselves.

Even if we have major disagreements with people, we still have to love them anyway. This is a duty that comes straight from God. This is not optional. If we call for violence against anyone, we are no longer in agreement with the LORD. If we’re not in agreement with Him, we’re in opposition to Him. That’s a dangerous place to be.

Being in opposition to the LORD invites demons into our hearts and lives. Fantasizing, glorifying, advocating, supporting, or perpetrating violence takes us out of agreement with the LORD and into agreement with the devil. The more we want violence or talk about it, the more hateful we become. The more we’ll agree with the devil. In the end we’ll be consumed by hate, and fully controlled by demons of hate and violence. If we abandon the LORD’s teachings of love and forgiveness toward all, we go to the devil and become his slave.

We fill our hearts with the values (etc.) that we talk and think about the most. If we’re always talking and thinking of violence, our hearts will be full of hate and violence. Both hate and violence are of the devil, not God.

A Deadly Ignorance of Spiritual Warfare

And there’s another problem with Qanon and violence. Some Qanon followers talk about Spiritual warfare against the forces of evil. But they have a completely wrong understanding of what Spiritual warfare is.

They’re gearing up for an actual, physical, real-world war of violence. They’re picking up their AR15 rifles and all kinds of worldly, man-made weapons. This is wrong, wrong, wrong, and futile, futile, futile. It goes against Scripture, and reading about Spiritual warfare in the Bible shows that picking up a gun is completely pointless.

That’s not how we fight. Our enemies aren’t human, they’re Spiritual. They don’t even have a body that we can shoot!! This is written in Ephesians 6:12, one of the fundamental verses on Spiritual warfare.

(12) We aren’t fighting against human enemies but against rulers, authorities, forces of cosmic darkness, and spiritual powers of evil in the heavens.

Ephesians 6:12

Many Qanon followers say Democrats and anyone who’s against them politically are demons. Demons can be in people, but people are not demons. All people are created in God’s Image and He loves us all so much, He sent His only Son to die for our sins (John 3:16). He wouldn’t have done this if people were demons. It’s a sin against God to not love one another, and to see others as demons.

Killing people who have demons is not only pointless because it doesn’t kill the demon, it also goes against God’s Will. God says we must not murder, and a person having a demon is not justification to murder them. Billions of people in this world, including Christians and Republicans, have demons. God Wills that we wage Spiritual warfare against the demon, and save the person from the demon. God loves everyone, including those afflicted by demons, and He wants for every one of them to be saved.

I was a terrible sinner before turning to Christ, as I’m sure you all were too. I had demons on me for years. If I deserved a second chance from God to change my ways and turn to Him, everyone deserves that chance. We have no right to wage physical war against our brothers, even those with demons. If we kill people with demons, we take away the chance to save them as God wanted.

What Qanon followers have got wrong, and what they need to understand, is that the weapons we fight with aren’t physical weapons. We are in a Spiritual war against Satan and his kingdom, that’s 100% true. But we don’t fight this war with guns—there’s no point to that. Our weapons are Spiritual weapons: Prayers, empowered by God to attack the demons and not the people. Attacking anything other than the demon is pointless, and man-made weapons won’t work.

This fundamental teaching of Spiritual warfare is found in 2 Corinthians 10:3-5.

(3) Although we live in the world, we don’t fight our battles with human methods. (4) Our weapons that we fight with aren’t human, but instead they are powered by God for the destruction of fortresses. They destroy arguments, (5) and every defense that is raised up to oppose the knowledge of God. They capture every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (CEB)

Praying warfare against Satan and the pedophile cabal is the best way for Christians to fight them. But Qanon followers? They don’t have the Faith (big ‘F’) for that. They put their faith (little ‘f’) in themselves and their man-made weapons, rather than the God-made weapons for believers. They only believe in what they see in the physical world. They have no understanding of how things work in the Spiritual. If they did, they would put down their guns and lift up their voices in prayer. They would start fighting for real.

Unholy Idolatry of a Mere Man

Another problem with Qanon is idolizing Trump. They see him as an anointed chosen one, the only one who can or will stop this global cabal of satanic pedophiles. Some Qanon followers see Trump on an almost godlike level, and in effect worship him. Clearly, this is the sin of idolatry. One of the most dangerous sins we could ever commit, and extremely offensive to God as the Bible tells us many times.

Whether it reaches the level of idolatry or not, all Qanon followers are guilty of putting their hope in a man rather than God. We can’t do that. We can never make gods out of men, or place all our hopes in them. We must only put our Hope in God, and no one else. If there really is a satanic pedophile cabal, only God and none other will save the world from them.

How many times does the Bible say that? Too many to count!! But let’s turn to the Psalms, because it’s a message that repeats in many Psalms.

(5) Oh, I must find rest in God only,
because my hope comes from him!

(6) Only God is my rock and my salvation
my stronghold!—I will not be shaken.
(7) My deliverance and glory depend on God.
God is my strong rock.
My refuge is in God.

Psalms 62:5-7 (CEB)

And although many Qanons read Revelation, it appears that not all are paying attention to it.

There is no human, anointed ‘chosen one’ in Revelation who heroically stops Satan’s plan. Satan’s plan will proceed until Jesus Christ returns and judges the devil and his demons. Then the world will be destroyed by God as seen in Revelation 21 and 22. There is no human character in Revelation who stops these events.

Any theories of Trump being a chosen one are a grievous misreading of Revelation, a lack of knowledge of Revelation, or ignoring what Revelation does and doesn’t say. Remember, as Jesus tells us and I often say on my blog, “these things must happen.” The End Times cannot be stopped, because it’s God’s Will that they happen. This world must be destroyed, because we can’t enjoy the blessing of God’s new world unless this fallen world dies first.

To hope (little ‘h’) and believe in any human to stop these events and stop Satan is foolish at best, idolatrous at worst. No human can save us except for the Son of Man, Jesus Christ. We must put our Hope (big ‘H’) in the right place!! Hope in Jesus—and no one else—for Salvation!!

Demonic Fear of the Wrong Things

Another thing that shows the evil of Qanon is how afraid Q followers are. They live in constant fear and anger of the Democrats, Joe Biden, communists and socialists … and so on. They’re horrified that Joe Biden becoming president of the U.S. means the end of the world.

What a stupid thing to be afraid of! This world is already coming to an end!! REJOICE!! THE END OF THIS SINFUL, FALLEN WORLD IS THE BEGINNING OF GOD’S NEW, PERFECT WORLD!! IT DOESN’T MATTER THIS WORLD WILL BE DESTROYED, WHICH WE ALREADY KNOW WILL HAPPEN BECAUSE GOD’S WORD SAYS SO IN REVELATION 21 AND 22!!!

These Qanon followers living in fear need to read my blog, Do Not Fear the End Times. And they need to read the Do Not Fear the End Times series, of which this post is Part 71. As I’ve said many times, if we’re Saved Christians then we have no need to fear death or the end of the world.

Jesus defeated death, and death has lost its sting for us. When we ‘die’ here on earth, our body dies but our soul goes on to everlasting life in union with Jesus. This is our true life. This is nothing to be afraid of—it’s something we want!! So death is nothing to fear for us.

As for the End of the world, again, that’s nothing to fear like I said above. After God destroys this sinful, fallen world, He will create His new, perfect world.

So what’s there to be afraid of? If we’re Saved Christians, strong in our Faith and battling our sins, then death or the End of the world aren’t the end for us. Both of those events will end in joy, as we move on to our true, eternal life with Jesus.

Being fearful goes against God’s Will. Remember 2 Timothy 1:7—our God has not given us a spirit of fear. God expects us to be brave, not fearful.

(7) For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)

Don’t fear the End of the world or anything that might happen during it. Be brave and face it together with Jesus and other Christians, as God intends. Though we may suffer a painful physical death, that pain is temporary. Our glorious life of joy in Heaven will be eternal. So keep the right perspective. Fear only God—do not fear any person in this world.

By living in fear of the End of the world and a Communist (etc.) takeover of the U.S., Qanon followers break this Law of God. That’s not the way! Remember the words of Our Savior, and Fear only God.

(28) Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body but can’t kill the soul. Instead, be afraid of the one who can destroy both body and soul in hell.

Matthew 10:28 (CEB)

Vicious Strife Destroying Families (with Victim Testimonials)

Now for the last item for today. The amount of strife and conflict Qanon causes in families shows how un-Christian Qanon is. God loves the family, and wants it to stay together. Satan loves strife and conflict, and causes it wherever he can.

Strife is an abomination to the LORD, as Proverbs 6:19 and other verses tell us. Yes, that’s right—the LORD hates strife, and conflict among brothers. So this is very serious. By causing all this family strife, Qanon shows it’s actually satanic rather than Christian.

(16) There are six things that the LORD hates,
seven things detestable to him:
(17) snobbish eyes,
a lying tongue,
hands that spill innocent blood,
(18) a heart set on wicked plans,
feet that run quickly to evil,
(19) a false witness who breathes lies,
and one who causes conflicts among relatives.

Proverbs 6:16-19 (CEB)

To explain the family strife Qanon causes, no one can explain it better than people who’ve actually been affected by it. It’s now time for some firsthand testimonials of what happens when loved ones get sucked in to the demonic deception of Qanon. The following stories come from the subreddit r/QAnonCasualties on Reddit. This is where people can discuss their loved ones who’ve fallen for the Q deception and the impact from that.

As you read these stories, ask yourself who told these Q-people it was OK to cause strife in their relationships. Does God’s Word tell them to do it? Or did a human tell them, someone who makes their Qanon YouTube videos, or runs a Qanon blog? Are they following God’s Word when they destroy their relationships, or human foolishness?

#1: A Wife and Son, Lost

Here’s the first story, I lost my husband to Q. See how things get worse and worse in this marriage, thanks to Qanon.

Just over three weeks ago after months of verbal and emotional abuse, which at its center has been caused by conspiracy theory related BS, my husband reached his breaking point.

We had an ok day doing Christmas related errands and decorating with our six month old for his first Christmas. Throughout the day my husband had a few Q related comments but I was able to get him in check.

Fast forward to about 7pm when I had a random Christmas playlist on. Some John Legend song came on and that was the straw that broke the camels back. He went into a spiral about how he and his wife Chrissy eat children and blah blah blah.

He wound up leaving the room and for the remainder of the night we stayed in separate rooms. As I was pumping so I could go to bed, he began screaming at me. I couldn’t tell you what he said because I entirely blocked him out.

I finished pumping, locked myself in our bedroom and got into bed. He barged in, broke the door handle, started to shove me while I was in bed, anticipating I would fight back but I played possum. Fighting wasn’t worth the risk of losing my baby boy. He was screaming at me to get the F out and other mean things. I remained in possum mode.

24 days later, and one no contact order, baby and I are adjusting to our new life.

https://www.reddit.com/r/QAnonCasualties/comments/kmi7sg/i_lost_my_husband_to_q/

So the husband lost his marriage and six-month old son, thanks to following Qanon. He harmed his own marriage by verbally abusing his wife over differences in belief, when if he were Christian he should have dealt with those differences lovingly instead. Then he got triggered into a rage by hearing a song on the radio, showing his demonic, un-Christian lack of Self-Control. Last, he got physically aggressive with his wife, which is not a problem-solving skill the Bible teaches. This man offended God by breaking his wedding vows to (assuming he’s Christian) love and cherish his wife, and then he lost his marriage.

Flying into a rage over a song on the radio? Getting physically aggressive with your wife, and losing your marriage and baby son? How does any of this honor the LORD??!

#2: An Engagement, Called off

In the second story, we see another relationship coming to an end. This time it’s from the man’s point of view. And he makes some insightful comments on Qanon and addiction. Let’s read: My name is Zak, and I’m an Alcoholic & Qanon Casualty.

[…] Sara told me how she watched her videos and learned about secret underground tunnels in Australia that the CIA had built to keep aboriginal children that they were kidnapping and stealing their life force. Apparently aboriginal children have the highest spiritual energy, so that’s why the bad guys kidnap them. I tried to understand, but she didn’t understand it herself. It was too much. We had commissioned a local artist to make a custom engagement ring and were supposed to pick up the ring that Saturday. Instead I asked her to leave and told her I needed time and space.

I had hoped that maybe it would force her to realize how insane this was, that it may cost her what she told me was the best relationship she could ever imagine. Unfortunately I forgot she is operating in crazytown. She didn’t see it as a break for her to think about it, instead she thought I needed a break because my mind couldn’t handle the truth about what is happening.

This past weekend she sent me an ebook that explained all of this. It is 300 pages talking about how Lizard people enslaved the human race 16,500 years ago, that the Rothschilds, the Pope, democrats etc… were all being manipulated by lizard people to keep order, and that a woman named Kim Possible (no, not the PBS Kids show character) found a loophole in the contract granting control over the earth and its inhabitants to the lizard people, so everything was fine now and things will be changing soon. (I guess the Lizard people are sticklers for rules if they would just walk away from 16,500 years of global domination due to a technicality).

That was it. I couldn’t deal with it anymore. I’m a recovering alcoholic, and this crap was pushing me closer and closer to drinking, I had to stop it to save myself. The more I thought about it, the more I realized I’d seen this behavior before, but not in her, in me. When I drank I pushed away those who wanted to help me. If you questioned my decisions, you were the bad guy that didn’t understand. If you pointed out that my drinking was irrational and harming me, I shouted you down until you went away. For the first time, I finally understood the pain I caused my ex-wife with my drinking. I continued my destructive behaviors despite how much it was ruining my life, and there was nothing she could say or do to get through to me.

Qanon is an addiction. It fills the void in people lives, gives them an easy explanation for complex problems, and gives them someone else to blame. It does for them the same thing booze did for me. My years in AA have really helped me to understand this and put it in perspective. It is a sickness, it doesn’t matter how educated you are, it is equal opportunity. Unfortunately, my time in AA has also shown me that you can’t save anyone if they won’t save themselves. That’s the hardest part for me. Knowing that there is literally nothing I can do unless she eventually realizes she’s been conned.

https://www.reddit.com/r/QAnonCasualties/comments/kn3hs6/my_name_is_zak_and_im_an_alcoholic_qanon_casualty/

What a tragedy to lose your fiance. But this man, a former alcoholic who’s spent years learning and growing in recovery, can see what Qanon truly does for people. He recognizes the behavior, and why people do it. It fills the same void for his fiance drinking once filled for him.

Showing Wisdom earned through experience, this man knew he can’t help his fiance if she won’t put down her addiction. Instead, he called off their engagement to protect himself and his sobriety. The correct choice. I’m sure the LORD will bless his Wise decision, and he will find someone else one day. As for the fiance? As long as she’s stuck in her addiction, she will continue to suffer her own consequences.

#3: A Painful Moment of Clarity

In the last story for today, we see a father who appears to suspect (or is starting to) he’s been led astray by Qanon. At the very least, he knows people can’t stand him now that he’s deep in Qanon, and this hurts him. Let’s read today’s final story: My dad just broke down in tears to me.

My dad just broke down in tears to me, its the first time I’ve seen him cry and it really hurt me to see it, I’m in tears myself. He kept saying everyone hates him and he knows it and he doesn’t know what to do and that he tried his best but it wasn’t good enough.
[…]
Around 10 years ago though he started getting into conspiracies; illuminati, Jews running the world, all the Satanic symbolism in music videos, movies all controlled as a means of predictive programming, 9/11, you get the picture. This was quite a big upheaval at the time, my memory isn’t very vivid but i remember a lot of arguing in the house, every conversation was turned into how the world is f***** basically, all his previous interests died, I couldn’t share my interests without them being s*** on by the conspiracies, it just created a very negative stressful environment. […] Since this started my dad cant enjoy anything, any kind of entertainment or bonding opportunities were ruined by his beliefs, cant go anywhere or watch anything without it being linked to conspiracies and ruining the atmosphere, it just gets very tiring and emotionally draining.

[…] but my dad isn’t the person he used to be, he doesn’t enjoy anything and I can see he feels isolated and alone, thinking we are still being manipulated by them and he is constantly wearing his mask trying to act the normal man who can enjoy watching a show with his family but really he cant stand it. Although this is easier to deal with it devastates me that my dad is seeing the world through this lens, after everything he’s been through and sacrificed for us he deserves to live the last part of his life in happiness.
[…]
i feel he hasn’t been the same person for the last 10 years, […] I don’t want him to feel guilty about any of this, i just want him to be able to laugh again.

https://www.reddit.com/r/QAnonCasualties/comments/knddnz/my_dad_just_broke_down_in_tears_to_me/

Look at the pain Qanon causes this father, and yet he still follows it. He broke down crying in front of his son, showing he understood that “everyone hates him.” He knows people can’t stand being around him, even his family. And this causes him great pain. We can see from the son’s words that this man has shown symptoms of depression for many years. He lost interest in all his old activities and shows no more happiness. The man feels lost and doesn’t know what to do. So tell me, is this what God wants for His people? Does God want a man’s own family to despise him, and for him to feel the pain of that? Does God want people to be depressed, and in constant fear of these conspiracies and how messed up the world is?

Qanon causes real harm, and is tearing families apart. Exactly what Satan wants, I’m sure.

Listen to God, not People

Despite what some Q followers may believe, Qanon does not honor God in any way. The real harm it causes to people, relationships, and families is not what God wants for His people. And following the Qanon conspiracy leads its followers into more sins, like violence and even idolatry. The result is following Qanon takes people out of agreement with the LORD God. That means they’re now in opposition, against God. And if they’re in opposition to God, they’re in agreement with the devil.

The violence, idolatry, fear, and strife that come hand-in-hand with belief in Qanon makes it clear this conspiracy theory is a demonic deception, meant to deceive as many as possible in the Final Days. The purpose of Qanon is satanic: It divides people, keeps them afraid, and leads them into sin.

And how does one fall for this? They fall for it by listening to the word of man, not God!! If Qanon followers were actually deep in God’s Word every day rather than Qanon YouTube videos and blog posts, they would know that:

  • There’s no reason to fear
  • We must turn the other cheek, forgive, and not be violent OR CALL FOR VIOLENCE
  • We must never make gods out of men; only the LORD God is worthy of our praise and reverence
  • There is no “chosen one” human hero in Revelation who puts a stop to Satan’s plans
  • We must love and forgive one another, especially family, and WE MUST NOT CAUSE STRIFE IN OUR FAMILIES; FAMILIES MUST BE TOGETHER, NOT BE TORN APART

I pray that all Qanon followers will one day wake up to the truth of what they’ve been following. I pray they will understand how opposed to Christianity it is. I pray they will then know to read God’s Word and listen to God, not any human!!

I pray they will understand that none of their actions while under the Qanon delusion honor God, and that they will REPENT! and turn to the True Truth of Jesus Christ. Once they do, they can start to find redemption in their lives, even if they’ve lost marriages and relationships they can’t get back … thanks to Qanon. That’s what happens when you follow the devil—your life gets messed up in all kinds of ways.

So I pray Qanon followers will wake up to the fact they’ve been following the devil. And I hope they wake up in time to REPENT! and turn to Christ.

As for all the rest of us, Jesus’ teachings are clear on what to do. Love God, and love each other (including “enemies”). Never threaten violence, and don’t cause strife!! And it does fall on us in the meantime to be as compassionate as possible to Qanon followers, to forgive them, and to lovingly rebuke them as we try to guide them back to the Truth.

*** This will not be my last post on Qanon. It’s a massive topic, and there’s so much wrong with it. It’s one of the most complex deceptions of the End Times we’ve seen so far. I’ll write on it again after studying it some more.
